Search for a Laravel developer in Massachusetts and most of what comes back is job listings. Hiring is one way to get Laravel work done, and it's the right one when there's a full-time job's worth of it and somebody on staff to manage the person doing it. Plenty of businesses have neither. They have one application the business depends on, a list of changes, and a framework upgrade that's been postponed twice.
That's where we fit. For some clients it's the whole arrangement: we build and look after the application, and there's no developer on the payroll. For others it's a gap. The developer who built it has left, the role is open, and the application still needs somebody who can ship a fix this week. We keep it patched, deployed, and documented while you hire, then hand it to the new developer with notes on how it's built and what's changed since they last saw a commit.
Being in Massachusetts matters less for the code than for the working day. We're on Eastern time, so a business in Boston, Cambridge, Worcester, or Springfield gets the same hours we keep. Emyrix is a US company on a US contract, invoicing in dollars. And when a handover from a departing developer goes better with everybody at one table, most of the state is a drive.
The engineering is the same work our Laravel development page describes in detail: new applications built from a written scope, inherited codebases read before anything changes, upgrades one major version at a time, and the performance and security work that comes with an application that's been in production for a few years.
